The 2022 National Engineers Week will be observed from February 20–26
Initiated by the National Society of Professional Engineers in 1951, the week has become a well-deserved and fun way to celebrate the industry. Activities are planned locally and throughout the country to promote the profession and recognize its contributions. In the Philadelphia area, festivities begin with the Opening Ceremony —not as extravagant as the one for the Olympics, but with real networking opportunities, dinner, and awards— just like before the COVID-19 shutdowns! The Engineer of the Year and the Young Engineer of the Year kick off their reigns, and thousands of dollars in scholarships are awarded to Delaware Valley engineering students. Stokes wishes a very happy Engineers Week to our own registered professional engineers— Vic Mottola, PE and Aage Schroeder, PE— along with our faithful and future teaming partners.
