VINCENTOWN, NJ. – Stokes Creative Group, Inc., a certified woman-owned business (WBE/DBE/SBE/WBENC), is proud to announce that Video Production Director Steve Gonski earned his certified drone pilot license last week. Flying drones for commercial use is vastly different than for recreational purposes. FAA requirements include successfully passing an exam that includes details about weather, restricted airspaces, communications and more. Gonski joins ranks with Production Director Matthew Touhey, who earned his drone pilot license in November of 2016.
“The impactful drone images and video produced for our clients has led to more requests,” said Vice President Chris Stokes. “Our goal is to not only provide outstanding visualizations for our clients, but to capture the precise conditions requested. An additional licensed pilot lets us do more projects – when our clients need them. “
Video and Photography conducted from a drone allows for elevated views and can capture unique perspectives. Pilots of the drones have a lot to consider from planning to conducting the flight professionally. Stokes also maintains the specific insurance requirements necessary to offer drone video and photography commercially.
