Redeveloping a complex, deeply layered website for a major metropolitan planning organization (MPO) to be visually appealing, engaging and easy to navigate is no effortless task. Fortunately, our web and digital content experts at Stokes Creative Group, Inc. were up to the task, working together with the South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization (SJTPO) to redesign their website, creating a more user-friendly and consistent online information center that clearly communicates SJTPO’s message and updates the site’s visitors. By utilizing responsive design, the new SJTPO website is easily viewed on computer screens of all sizes—PCs, tablets, and cell phones alike—allowing site visitors to quickly and easily review documents, calendar events, maps, and more.

Since it included nearly 50 pages and countless announcement posts, the SJTPO website redevelopment project was much more involved than a typical web project. One of the most challenging redevelopment tasks included creating an archive system for hundreds of existing documents that had been multiplying since the early 2000s, and allowing staff and users to search for information by name or category.
Adding to the appeal of the brand-new site, Stokes photographers captured professional headshots of SJTPO staff, showcasing their team in a strong and unified manner on their updated staff page. Lastly, our web development team went to the SJTPO headquarters to provide detailed instructions on how to edit content or add posts to their new website.
