Building on our rapport with the Interchange 14A Improvement project team, Stokes transitioned with the NJTA to this $52 million interchange and bridge deck reconstruction project primarily located in East Orange, with additional improvements in the neighboring towns of Newark, Nutley, and Bloomfield.

The key outreach elements for this project included weekly email and text message alerts, animated graphics and detour maps, printed pamphlets with local distribution, a toll-free hotline, a dedicated email address for questions, and a project website to host all of the information.
Stokes lead all of the public outreach efforts for this four-year project, working with the AECOM team to develop messaging, disseminate materials, plan regular community forum meetings, and facilitate smaller community meetings.
