Stokes Creative Group, Inc. has had a long and constructive relationship with NJ TRANSIT, working with the different segments of NJ TRANSIT to fulfill communications, outreach, and media support roles. From planning projects to complete educational mini-movies (Chicken on the Tracks), Stokes has produced a variety programs designed to tell NJ TRANSIT’s stories with an eye toward involving and educating the public and all stakeholders.

Accessible Services Promotion Task
Working with NJ TRANSIT leadership, Stokes put together a series of videos showcasing different accessible service options for their various modes of transportation (bus, train, light rail, etc.). Production involved working with each mode or segment of NJ TRANSIT and understanding the stakeholders within the company as well as external stakeholders and community members throughout the state who use each mode of transport.
COVID-19 Response Public Service Announcement Task
The pandemic impacted everyone, but NJ TRANSIT — a vital connection for businesses, students, and entertainment — absorbed the combined impact from each of those sectors. Ridership levels dropped to historic levels when businesses in New Jersey and New York effectively shut their doors, yet NJ TRANSIT remained a vital link for the essential workforce that fought the pandemic. Stokes’ task was to develop programs to inform the public about how the dedicated men and women of NJ TRANSIT were responding to COVID-19 to ensure the safety of employees and commuters.
NJ TRANSIT, with support from Stokes, successfully produced a series of accessible-services videos that highlighted transportation options, as well as public service announcements that informed riders about NJ TRANSIT’s safety measures involving the COVID-19 pandemic.
