Chesapeake Bay Bridge

Stretching 4.03 miles across the water, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge first opened its span to travelers in 1952. As a major dual-span bridge in Maryland, it spans the Chesapeake Bay, connecting the state’s rural Eastern Shore region with its urban and suburban Western Shore. It runs between Stevensville and Sandy Point State Park near the capital city of Annapolis.
