The development of a risk-based transportation management plan (TAMP) has been mandated in both state and federal laws. The TAMP is a coordinated plan by the New Jersey Department of Transportation and its partner agencies to maintain New Jersey’s transportation infrastructure assets today and into the future, evolving over time, incorporating improvements, and reevaluating conditions, targets, and performance. It is a valuable foundation for the NJDOT’s mission to provide a world-class transportation system throughout the state of New Jersey.

Stokes Creative Group, Inc., was tasked with several responsibilities related to this important undertaking. Stokes’ public outreach team is supporting the project by reviewing the stakeholder consultation plan; conducting data collection from non-NJDOT asset owners; facilitating two stakeholder meetings to solicit feedback and comments; and preparing materials, organizing, and conducting workshops designed to educate and elicit significant input.
Additionally, Stokes designed and produced the 163-page 2022 New Jersey Transportation Asset Management Plan document, creating a visual reference of the current assets and the blueprint for their successful management.
This design work included the establishment of a color palette, formatting, and fonts selected with the aim of a cohesive and visually appealing document, as well as the creation of a multitude of tables, charts, diagrams, and schematics. The end result is an attractive, informative document suitable for either printing or online utilization.
